    • Flying dynamic modeling of satellite formation with internal forces

      2015, 7(2):133-136.

      Abstract (838) HTML (0) PDF 1.04 M (2303) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Satellite formation flying with internal forces has attracted great attention for its high performance. However, the control force is highly sensitive to the relative position and relative attitude between satellites, and coupling effect exists between control forces and control torques, both of which pose challenges to building the dynamic model for formations with internal forces.A 6-dof (degree of freedom) relative translational and rotational dynamic model is established in this paper, considering the coupling between control forces and control torques. The cooperative control of relative states between the satellites is realized by designing the control law for both relative position and relative attitude. Finally, the dynamic model is testified through the simulation of formation reconfiguration using the pseudospectral method.

      2015, 7(2):137-141.

      Abstract (863) HTML (0) PDF 2.64 M (2504) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:A digital frequency characteristic analyzer based on orthogonal modulation principle is developed using steady-state response measurement method. The frequency response analyzer consists of Direct Digital frequency Synthesis(DDS),analog multiplier, low pass filter, and low power consumption MCU.The MCU is employed as main control unit to carry out overall control and digital signal processing. The sine wave over the full frequency range is output through the integrated DDS chip. The analyzer system samples and digitalizes the input signal and output response, hence the amplitude and phase frequency characteristics are obtained. An RLC network is chosen to test the frequency characteristic analyzer.Measurement results show that the center frequency error is not more than 0.2%,the absolute value of quality factor error is less than 1.25%,and the maximum voltage gain is larger than -1 dB.Both the input and output impedance of the frequency characteristic analyzer are 50 Ω,and the absolute value of measurement errors are less than 0.5dB and 3° for amplitude frequency and phase frequency, respectively. The analyzer is suitable for characteristic parameter measurement of micromechanical resonant sensor.

Abstract:The internet of things is employed to construct a network monitoring the four situations of farmland, with the purpose to build sustainable and green precision agriculture. The four situations during crop production, including crop growth, soil moisture, crop diseases & pests, and meteorological disasters, are acquired and transmitted by the low-power,low-cost,self-organized wireless communication network, which are then processed by the powerful cloud services support platform, thus provide data to the crop production management decision system.Integrated with functions of real-time crop growth monitoring, crop diseases & pests recognition and warning, disaster evaluation, this system can provide technical support for improvement in agricultural comprehensive production capacity, prevention of natural disasters as well as the development of high efficient modern agriculture.

    • Precipitation interpolation algorithm calibrated by weather radar data

      2015, 7(2):155-158.

      Abstract (1108) HTML (0) PDF 1.64 M (2652) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Precipitation interpolation algorithm plays an important role in meteorological business, which can generate area rainfall data from point rainfall data.Yet traditional interpolation method only considers the impact of distance on the estimated point data, thus cannot fully reflect the real drop-zone distribution of precipitation. The Doppler radar data are employed to improve rainfall interpolation results, which enables the interpolation results to better reflect the distribution characteristics of radar reflectivity, and to overcome the problem of sharp point in inverse distance weighting interpolation.Meteorological test results show that this method is reliable in precipitation interpolation and stable in calibration effect, thus can be applied in meteorological business.

    • Temporal and spatial variation characteristics of drought trend at growth stage of winter wheat in Henan province based on SPEI index

      2015, 7(2):159-167.

      Abstract (923) HTML (0) PDF 3.03 M (2372) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:Based on the precipitation, air temperature and evaporation data in Henan province during 1961-2009,the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) was calculated, hence the strength of drought during different growth stage of winter wheat in Henan province was graded by the SPEI and divided into slight, moderate and extreme droughts.According to the growth characteristics, the growth period of winter wheat in Henan province are divided into early growth period, tillering stage, and turning green-heading-maturity period. The drought characteristics including interdecadal trend, coverage area, frequency, period and spatial distribution were analyzed and compared using Meteoinfo software,Morlet wavelet analysis, and linear regression method. Results show that the characteristics of drought in different growing stages of winter wheat were different, and the drought's frequency and intensity were various in different regions or years. But the slight drought takes up the maximum probability, while the extreme drought has the minimum probability, which is a common feature during all growth periods. The drought occurrence in Zhumadian City has the maximum probability in every growth period. The major periods of extreme point for drought during the whole growth period were about 10a.The SPEI increased in Henan in recent years, indicating a drought trend in future for Henan province.

    • Climate change and its mutation analysis in Shuozhou of Shanxi province during 1960-2010

      2015, 7(2):168-173.

      Abstract (1056) HTML (0) PDF 1.28 M (2338) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:The climate change characteristics in Shuozhou of Shanxi province in recent 51years is analyzed in detail by using the data of precipitation and temperature observed by 6 meteorological stations during 1960-2010.The climate variation and anomaly are showed and analyzed by statistic tables and methods of moving average, linear tendency, mutation analysis, etc. The results show that the precipitation in Shuozhou was generally in a decreasing trend in recent 51 years, with a linear decreasing rate of -6.21 mm/(10 a),which is lower than that in Shanxi or in the whole nation. The wet years were mostly in 1960s or 1970s,while the dry years were roughly scattered in the whole period. As for the seasonal variation, precipitation decreased in summer and increased in the other 3 seasons, indicating that the annual precipitation decreasing trend is mainly due to the decreased summer precipitation.Yet,no obvious mutation is found in annual or seasonal precipitation variation. The temperature in Shuozhou was generally in a fluctuant increasing trend in recent 51 years, with a linear increasing rate of 0.285℃/(10 a),which is significantly higher than that in Shanxi or in the whole nation. The warming trend is more obvious since 1990s.The temperature is in increasing trend in all the 4 seasons with different increasing range, and temperature rises most significantly in winter with increasing rate of 0.5℃/(10 a).Significant mutations are found in annual and seasonal average temperature variations. The climate in Shuozhou during 1960-2010 can be divided into two periods, namely cool period before mid-1990s,and warm period after mid-1960s.

    • Ordered network structure and its prediction for the ordered pair of M≥8 great earthquakes in west China

      2015, 7(2):174-183.

      Abstract (1024) HTML (0) PDF 1.31 M (2341) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:According to the statistical analysis,a total of 23 M≥8 earthquakes occurred in mainland China from 1303 to 2012.The seismic activity of M≥8 earthquakes has showed an obvious self-organized orderliness. It should be remarked especially that, there were three ordered pairs of M≥8 earthquakes occurred in west China during 1902-2001,of which, the time interval of two earthquakes in each pair was four years. This is a unique and rare earthquake example in earthquake history of China and the whole world. In the guidance of the information forecasting theory of WENG Wenbo, based on previous research results, combining ordered analysis with complex network technology,we focus on the summary of the ordered network structure of M≥8 earthquakes, and add new information to further optimize network, hence construct the 2D-and 3D-ordered network structure of M≥8 earthquakes and make prediction research. At last,a new prediction opinion is presented that the future ordered pair of M≥8 earthquakes will probably occur around 2022 and 2026 in west China.

      2015, 7(2):184-188.

      Abstract (850) HTML (0) PDF 806.75 K (2099) Comment (0) Favorites

Abstract:We study into the sliding mode control of Itô-type stochastic time-delay system with distributed parameters, design the variable structure controller and verify the existence of sliding-mode movement in this paper. At the same time, the invariable property and moving stability are analyzed for sliding-mode control system with uncertain variables on sliding switching surface.Compared with previous studies in this aspect, the conclusion achieved in this paper is correlated with diffusion coefficients and thus has significance in practical application. Conclusions of many similar papers can be improved and extended by using methods proposed in this paper.
