Abstract:Ordinary wireless sensor network nodes are hardware fixed and unable to change their node configuration during service.This paper proposes a new self-repairing method based on bio-inspired evolvable hardware for wireless sensor network node.By using bio-inspired evolvable hardware,the nodes can be implemented with self-repairing ability which can dynamically change the node's hardware structure and behavior to repair themselves in case of component hardware failures.This paper proposes a bio-inspired self-repairing method for wireless sensor network nodes.A FPAAs-based self-repairing node is developed and its self-repairing function is evaluated.Experiments show that the node can diagnose the failures and recover to normal working state automatically.The research presented can improve the safety and robustness of the wireless sensor network.

Abstract:This paper presents the design and implementation of a smart wireless sensor node,which is aimed to reduce the energy consumption of the wireless sensor network.On this basis,we set up the wireless sensor network,and realize the node-level and the network-level energy-efficiency.The node-level energy-efficiency,based on the adaptive radio frequency power,assumes that the node can reduce the necessary output power automatically and ensure the reliable communication at the same time.The network-level energy-efficiency is realized through comparing the energy consumption of star network with that of tree network and then selecting the more efficient structure.Experimental test has proved that the designed sensor node is applicable to realize the adjustability of transmission power and network configuration.

Abstract:The particle filter algorithm based on color feature has been a research focus in tracking of moving object.This paper presents a particle filter algorithm based on a weighted color histogram to track moving object,using Bhattacharyya distance to describe the color similarity between the particle and the target area,which improves the measurement matching and sample weight updating.The similarity between target template and particle area is calculated,which can locate the target accurately and efficiently.The implementation of this method produces robust results for different situations such as partial occlusion,rotation and shape distortion.The results show that the method is feasible and can perform well in video surveillance and vehicle tracking.

Abstract:A new 6-axis wrist force sensor is designed in this paper.The finite element method for the crossbeam elastic body of the sensor is established to analyze the characteristics of structure static.The rationality of the mechanical structure is discussed,and the best pasting position of strain gages is determined.The force/moment signal of every dimension is translated into output voltage through reasonable bridge group.An amplifying circuit is designed to amplify the 6-axis signal,and the 6-axis wrist force sensor is calibrated through static calibration device.

Abstract:This paper designed a rehabilitative training robot for upper and lower limbs.The designs of mechanical structure and its control system are introduced.The DC-motor of the rehabilitative training robot was controlled by the SSU7301 MCU,and the C8051F320 MCU was used for the USB communication to the upper computer.These two parts were communicated through serial port.This robot could be used to train the upper and lower limbs on one robot.There were two modes of the training:the passive mode and the active mode,which can be automatically switched with different condition of patient's movement.The experiment results show that the robot is rationally designed and stably performed.

Abstract:This paper introduces a virtual system of hemal intervening operation based on haptic feedback.This system is a core of general-purpose haptic interactive device—Novint Falcon haptic display device,which can achieve haptic feedback in the virtual hemal intervening operation.This paper introduces hardware environment parameters of the system,and designs modeling based on the 3DS MAX and simulation software system based on CHAI 3D.The simulation results show that this system can effectively simulate the condition of haptic feedback in the hemal intervening operation,which may offer convenience for doctor training before hemal intervening operation and increase the success rate.

Abstract:In order to realize automatic testing of the platinum resistance temperature sensor,a wireless platinum resistance test system based on ZigBee technology is designed.The test data of many platinum resistances can be sunk to the main computer by the high precision micro endpoints,and the PC-based test software is designed in Windows system by using Delphi7.0 and SQL Server2000.The automatic testing system is realized with the function of data acquisition,processing,management and performance evaluation.The problem that requires lots of wires existed in the traditional testing system is solved,and the test efficiency of the temperature sensors is improved.

Abstract:The focus of the work is to build a micro-displacement measurement of computer vision for micro-bending forming with high measuring accuracy.Matlab was utilized to write camera calibration program,and the internal and external parameters of the camera was calculated.The method made use of OpenCV to conduct gray level transformation,image binary,Canny edge extraction,and adopted sequential similarity detection algorithm to carry out template matching.Results indicate that the measurement method of micro-displacement is simple in operation with high efficiency.

Abstract:A modular Renesas singlechip experimental system is developed to design digital thermometer.The system uses highly integrated temperature sensor,adopts modular design scheme and completes the thermometer design which is based on 16-bit singlechip microcontroller(M3062LFGPGP).A new algorithm is introduced to process temperature data.Temperature measuring precision could be improved by using main control software and appropriate hardware correction technique.According to traditional design principles and the characteristics of Renesas microcontrollers M3062LFGPGP,the system integrates A/D converter module and calendar module into the main control module,and uses software program instead of the above-mentioned two hardware modules and realize their functions simultaneously.The system consists of control module,temperature module and display module.The system can display the current temperature with time like year,month,day,week,hour,minute,second,etc.This design can significantly reduce system's power consumption and decrease hardware design errors,thus improve system stability.This digital thermometer can accurately measure and clearly display the current temperature and time,which is highly valuable in application.

Abstract:The hardware design and software programming of the RS_485 communication is completed based on the TMS320VC5402 DSP.In order to extend the hardware,designer connects directly the multi-channel buffered port(McBSP) of Texas Instrument's TMS320VC5402 DSP chip by the SPI mode with MAXIM's MAX3100 universal asynchronous serial transceiver interface,and then get through Linear Technology's LTC1480 which is a low power RS_485 transceiver,thus achieve a new standard interface based on RS_485 serial communication.The design makes full use of the DSP on-chip resources to simplify the hardware and software architecture as much as possible.The paper presents a hardware connection principle diagram and introduces related software programming.

Abstract:As an important technology in the field of computer-aided test,virtual instrument technology is the product of combination of modern computer technology and instrument technology.This paper introduced the design of the virtual spectrum analyzer based on B/S model.This virtual spectrum analyzer is mainly used for analyzing signal with noise which is produced by signal generator.The virtual spectrum analyzer consists of signal generator,digital filter,parameter measurement,frequency spectrum analysis,harmonic analysis and remote network monitor.The experiments showed that the virtual spectrum analyzer can realize functions such as the sampling signal display,analysis,remote network control.The virtual spectrum analyzer works smoothly with satisfactory results and reliable performance.

Abstract:Aiming at the characteristics of nonlinear,strong coupling and time-varying in the field of redundant manipulator kinematics,a method of nonlinear fitting and system identification based on radial basic function(RBF) neural network is adopted.RBF neural network,with the capabilities of good approximation,fast convergence,strong nonlinear processing ability and etc.,can effectively resolve the redundant manipulator inverse kinematics problem.Meanwhile,the center parameters of RBF network are selected by genetic algorithm to improve the performance and efficiency.The 6-DOF manipulator kinematic modeling and simulation is implemented with Matlab and the calculated results verify the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper.

Abstract:Pluviometer is an important instrument for meteorological,hydrographic and agricultural departments to measure rainfall.Newly produced or in-service pluviometers are all need to be checked to guarantee the precision and reliability.Yet the manual checking method is not convenient and the checking soutits precision is hard to guarantee.For this reason,we designed a portable automatic calibrator for pluviometer.It uses ultrasonic to detect the liquid level and then controls the stepper motor to regulate velocity and flow automatically,thus keep the water flow evenly.Different rainfall can be set via the software to simulate the real rainfall.The measurement precision is calculated by comparison of the pluviometer readings with the software set values.To ensure the checking precision,we use high-frequency ultrasonic transducer and the timing frequency of CPU reaches 50 MHz.Experiment results show that the calibrator has high checking precision,and can preferably meet the requirements of the existing meteorological observation.

Abstract:Based on the 3D Inverted Pendulum model,a new walking pattern synthesis was proposed,which can make a humanoid robot walk smoothly by variable ZMP(Zero-Moment Point).By the new way,in the single leg support phase,the COG(Center of Gravity) trajectory equation of the humanoid robot can be educed through the variable ZMP;while in the double leg support phase,the COG trajectory can be educed by the ZMP moving at a lower constant velocity.Simulation results verifies the proposed method,which can guarantee a relatively high stability.And the humanoid robot in this walking pattern can walk more smoothly,and in a more similar way to human walking.

Abstract:Predictive Function Control(PFC) shares the same working principle with traditional predictive control methods,namely model prediction,rolling optimization and feedback compensation.Yet the PFC overmatches traditional ones in its simple algorithm,low computational burden,fast tracking and high precision,which makes it suitable to fast systems,such as excitation system of synchronous generator.This paper introduces the basic principles and characteristics of PFC and applies it to the synchronous generator excitation system.Simulation results show that the PFC can control the synchronous generator's port voltage,short circuit voltage and open circuit voltage,and the control effect of PFC is better than that of PID and FOPID.
