    Abstract:

Based on the data obtained from 23 meteorological stations in Xinjiang during 1960-2009,the climatic change characteristics during recent 50 years in Xinjiang are analyzed by using the method of linear trend estimate. The research shows that,in recent 50 years, the maximum, minimum and average temperatures in Xinjiang are increasing, but the sunshine hours and the mean annual range of temperature are decreasing, while the change tendency of the cloud cover is non-significant.As the main air dynamic factor, wind speed decreased significantly. The three humidity factors were in different increasing trend,or specifically speaking, the relative humidity and the precipitation increased slightly, while the vapor pressure increased obviously. As a result,Xinjiang area is getting wetter in the past 50 years, and the climate is in a warm-wet trend.
