Vulnerability analysis and risk zoning of regional lightning disaster in Zhejiang province

    Abstract:

    Based on the lightning disaster investigation data,lightning monitoring data in Zhejiang province from 2007 to 2010,vulnerability analysis and risk zoning of lightning disaster in Zhejiang province are made in this paper.Indicators,such as cloud to ground lightning density,the frequency of lightning disaster,economic vulnerability module,vital vulnerability module,the loss of lightning disaster and the number of casualties,are selected as indexes for risk assessment of regional lightning disaster and comprehensive evaluation of the vulnerability of each city and county in Zhejiang province.Finally,the vulnerability zoning map is made in Zhejiang by means of GIS,which provides scientific basis and valuable reference for the reasonable planning of lightning disaster prevention and reduction in Zhejiang province.
